Panel Backs Use of ANDE Rapid DNA System

The DNA Subcommittee recommended that the Commission on Forensic Science approve the New York State Police Crime Laboratory’s use of the ANDE Rapid DNA Identification system for rapid analysis of single-source reference samples. This recommendation follows review of the laboratory’s validation studies and will enable rapid DNA technology within the state police lab.
