Minnesota Historical Society Awards Construction Contract to Lake Minnetonka Historical Society (January 2026)

Through the FY2025 Minnesota Historical and Cultural Heritage Grants Program, the Minnesota Historical Society approved a Legacy grant to the Lake Minnetonka Historical Society for rehabilitation of the Minnehaha streetcar boat. The project will return the registered historic vessel to passenger service as a floating museum.
