The Board authorized Antelope Valley Community College District staff to bypass competitive bidding and negotiate a new professional services agreement with Barnes & Noble College Booksellers, LLC for bookstore operations after the current contract expires on June 30, 2026. The existing agreement includes a 7% gross merchandise commission to scholarships and has been extended once previously.
