The Community College District No. 508 Board of Trustees approved a contract with Health Care Service Corporation d/b/a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois to administer the fully-insured HMO medical plan for the period January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2029. The total value of the agreement is not to exceed $64,000,000. The award leverages joint purchasing with the City of Chicago and other agencies to secure best-in-class health care services at competitive rates.
