The Beaufort Historic Preservation Commission approved a Certificate of Appropriateness for Owens Construction to replace a historic cedar shake roof with standing seam metal roofing at 201 Front Street, subject to a condition on the ridge cap design. The final COA will be issued after adoption of the minutes and findings of fact.
