The City of Seguin and Meadow Lake WCID No. 1 entered into an interlocal cooperative agreement effective April 2, 2024 to finance repairs to the Nolte Dam. The City will contribute up to $5 million, including an initial $1.36 million installment, while the District issues bonds for its share of the estimated $20.8 million project.

Agreement may be amended only by written instrument executed by both parties. If construction has not commenced by 2026-05-01, the District must repay City contributions within 180 days and no further City payments are required.
