The City of Steinbach is considering approval of an operating agreement with Southeast Events Group Inc. to manage and operate the new Southeast Event Centre and TG Smith Arena. SEG Inc. will receive an estimated $700,000 annually plus a one-time pre-opening grant up to $600,000 over an initial term through February 2028, with operating funding committed to December 31, 2029.
