The Corporation of the County of Middlesex enters into a multi-year Planning Services Agreement with a participating lower-tier municipality, funded via the County Levy and nominal consideration of $2.00 exchanged between the parties. The County will provide core and optional non-core planning services, including application review, reporting, and tribunal support, for an initial five-year term with two automatic five-year renewals.

Initial term of five (5) years from the effective date, with automatic renewal for two additional five (5)-year terms on each anniversary of the initial term unless either party provides six (6) months’ written notice of termination. Either party may terminate at any time with six (6) months’ written notice, and disputes may ultimately lead to termination after following the dispute resolution process.
