Somerton Extends Sewer Capacity Commitment to County District

The Somerton City Council will consider approving a Letter of Commitment with the Yuma County Improvement District to accept sewer capacity from the Orange Grove–Rancho Mesa Verde Improvement District and extend the capacity assurance period through December 31, 2028. The agreement maintains a $1,798 utility development impact fee and caps any utility connection fee increases at 5 percent during the term.
