National Grid Withdraws Everett Underground Conduit Petition

Massachusetts Electric Company d/b/a National Grid petitioned Everett City Council for permission to install underground electric conduit on Irving Street to serve 41-47 Union Street, but subsequently notified the city the work request was no longer needed and withdrew the petition without prejudice. The proposed work involved about 10 feet of 2-4 inch conduit from existing pole #694-0 to private property for an overhead-to-underground service conversion.
