Virginia Board Considers New ETS Praxis Assessment Contract

The Virginia Board of Education is considering approval to add and update ETS Praxis assessments for multiple subjects, including world languages and elementary education. ETS will provide the exams, guidance, and study companions; approval is expected at the August 2026 meeting. Praxis 5001 series will remain available until August 2028 as the transition to 8000 series occurs.
