Radio Vendor Password Issue Hampers Reprogramming

Fire Chief Ken Buckmaster informed the First Response Committee of problems with the current radio vendor, which locked programmed radios with a password only it controls, complicating reprogramming and encryption. County officials plan to work through existing law enforcement contacts to resolve the issue with the vendor.
