Friant Water Authority is working with Kern Subbasin GSAs to plan and design the Lower Reach Capacity Correction for the Friant-Kern Canal, with a preliminary estimated total cost of $304M, of which Kern GSAs are preliminarily responsible for $42M due to post-2020 subsidence.
