OCPS grants FDOT perpetual drainage and access easements

Orange County Public Schools and Dr. Phillips executed an Access and Drainage Easement Agreement granting the Florida Department of Transportation perpetual drainage and access rights over specified parcels to serve a retention pond. FDOT assumes responsibility for maintaining and repairing the drainage facilities and must reimburse the landowners if they perform emergency maintenance or if FDOT’s use damages the access areas.

The agreement may only be amended by mutual written consent of all property owners and must be recorded to be effective.
