Description
The Board previously approved a $20 million grant agreement with the California Energy Commission, coupled with $11.1 million in Port matching funds, to support the Port Offshore Wind Equity and Readiness (POWER) project. The funding covers design, environmental review, workforce and supply chain studies, emission reduction strategies, and stakeholder engagement for the proposed Pier Wind Terminal.
