County Authorizes FEMA Mitigation Contract with NCDPS

The Board authorized the County Manager to execute contracts with the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Management if a FEMA Hazard Mitigation Assistance grant up to $700,000 is awarded for Briar Creek flood mitigation. The agreement will govern receipt and use of federal and state hazard mitigation funds through project completion.
