The Board approved a contract with Golden State Fire Apparatus, Inc. for up to $6,658,505 to manufacture five Type 1 fire engines and authorized a lease-purchase schedule with PNC Bank for up to $7,832,245, including a four-party agreement with Pierce Manufacturing. The equipment will be funded through the General Operating Fund and lease financing.
