After acquiring Raw Materials Company Inc., Environmental 360 Solutions Ltd maintained Niagara Region’s free battery collection services until the end of 2025, then advised it would introduce fees starting January 1, 2026. In response, the Region shifted its multi-residential and facility battery programs into a new funded agreement with Call2Recycle Canada Inc. to avoid these costs.
