The Oregon State Fire Marshal engaged AntFarm Youth Services to perform a four-day fuels reduction and wildfire mitigation pilot project along the Indian Creek Trail near the Port of Hood River in March 2026. The crew reduced ladder fuels, removed invasive vegetation, and pruned mature trees to improve defensible space in a high-risk corridor.
