Penrose Water District partnered with the Colorado Department of Health & Environment (CDPHE) and state-contracted engineering firms for a comprehensive service line material inventory at no direct cost to the district, funded through a CDPHE grant from January 2024 to March 20, 2025. The inventory was completed and deemed the system non-lead.
