The Village of Fairport Harbor Council approved an intergovernmental School Resource Officer agreement with the Fairport Harbor Exempted Village School District. Under the five-year automatically renewing agreement, the district will fund 80% of the SRO officer’s wages, benefits, and related costs while the Village funds 20%, providing dedicated police protection for the 2023-2024 school year and beyond.
