Description
Lehigh County approved an intergovernmental agreement with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to provide jail inmates with valid state-issued identification, driver’s licenses, or camera cards prior to release. Under the program, PennDOT will process applications, waive certain fees, and invoice the County monthly according to established schedules. The arrangement remains effective until either party chooses to terminate it with appropriate notice.
