County Plans IGA With Portland for Moda Center Funding

Multnomah County plans to enter an intergovernmental agreement with the City of Portland to provide up to $101.6 million in County funding toward Moda Center arena renovations and initial ongoing capital expenditures. Under the agreement, the City would be responsible for transferring County funds to the approved Moda Center investments using tourism-related revenues rather than general fund or business income tax revenues.
