The Town of Cape Carteret Board of Commissioners approved a resolution authorizing the Town Manager to execute an encroachment agreement with Piedmont Natural Gas for the installation of 55,000 linear feet of new gas main to service the Star Hill Community. Construction is expected to begin in late September 2026 and continue through mid-2027.
