Weber County approved participation in a County Fire Warden Agreement with FFSL and Weber Fire District, committing approximately $60,821 annually toward fire warden and assistant fire warden wages plus program support. The County will share costs for training, equipment, office supplies, and a winter vehicle through the life of the existing cooperative fire management agreement.

County Fire Warden Agreement is ancillary to and co-terminous with the Cooperative Agreement; Appendix A support budget will be reviewed and updated annually. The County’s portion of fire warden compensation may increase annually under Utah Code § 65A-8-209.1(3)(b).
