Town Considers Traffic Calming MOU With Bicycle Coalition

The Town of Chebeague Island is considering an MOU with the Bicycle Coalition of Maine to provide no-cost technical assistance, materials, and support for a temporary traffic calming demonstration at the North Road/Cottage Road intersection from July through November 2026. The agreement would loan modular speed bumps and delineator posts and include help with implementation and evaluation.
