The City of Asheville plans to amend its Interlocal Agreement with Buncombe County to accept $4,376.64 in County matching funds for Code Purple daytime emergency shelter operations during Winter Storm Gianna on February 1–2, 2026. The City will provide matching funds from American Rescue Plan Act allocations to fully cover $8,753.29 in provider operating costs.
