Carbon farming partnership at Purisima recommended to Board

The Planning and Natural Resources Committee recommended Board approval of a three-year partnership agreement with the San Mateo Resource Conservation District to implement the Bluebrush Ranch Carbon Farming Implementation Project at Purisima Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve. The pilot project will test carbon sequestration practices aligned with the District’s coastal agricultural and climate goals.
