UT moves to settle Pharma Conference contract litigation

The University of Tennessee Board of Trustees Audit and Compliance Committee is asked to approve a $700,000 settlement with Pharma Conference Education, Inc. to resolve a contract dispute over a 2016 agreement to produce pharmaceutical-related conferences. The settlement follows Pharma’s $2.4 million breach-of-contract claim after UT terminated the five-year agreement in early 2017 and will also require approval by state officials.
