An updated agreement with the NC Department of Health and Human Services will continue to provide fire and police protection services to Central Regional Hospital and UNC Youth Behavioral Health.DHHS would provide compensation to the town to cover the staffing, training, auto maintenance and services which are necessary to fulfill the agreement. The agreement is for three years.
