Description

The City of Beacon is proposing a local law concerning accessory apartment requirements. The proposed local law is intended to increase the number of single-family properties which can satisfy the requirements to construct an ADU. For example, ADUs will now be permitted in all zoning districts when such are currently permitted in all R1, RD and Transitional (T) zoning districts.
