Emerald Isle plans to extend its pre-positioned hurricane debris removal contract with State Tree Services of Sumter, SC for the 2026 hurricane season, keeping all existing terms and rates in place through June 30, 2027. The contract will be activated only if a significant storm generates debris beyond Town capacity.
