The Town of Camden has been awarded a $5.93 million grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to remove Montgomery Dam, restore the Megunticook River channel, and install a hybrid living shoreline at Harbor Park between 2026 and 2029. The Select Board will formally accept the award and authorize execution of the NFWF grant agreement.
