State and LaFayette CSD sign Onondaga Nation education pact

The State of New York and LaFayette Central School District entered into an agreement covering school years 2026-2027 through 2033-2034 to provide Pre-K through 8 education and supplemental services for Indigenous students residing on the Onondaga Nation. The contract includes instructional programming, cultural and language education, transportation to ceremonies, and support for community events, with State reimbursement to the district and for any services subcontracted to other districts or BOCES.
