County To Contract For Mental Health Transports

Cocke County plans to enter an agreement with Shoals Ambulance LLC d/b/a Priority Ambulance to provide 24/7 mental health patient transport services for the Sheriff’s Office. Shoals will bill insurers or the County at Medicare allowable rates for transports during a term running from August 2026 through June 2027 or until grant funding ends.
