Amended MOA to fund CBJ emergency services on tribal land

Juneau’s City Manager has proposed an amendment to the public safety MOA with the Central Council of the Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska to formalize CBJ fire, EMS, and emergency response services on tribal lands. The amendment establishes a voluntary annual contribution by the Tribe to support these services while preserving both governments’ sovereign status.
