IHDA Proposes Adding Oppenheimer To Bond Selling Group

The Finance Committee reviewed a request to amend IHDA’s Financial Management Policy to add Oppenheimer & Co. to the Authority’s authorized Selling Group for bond transactions. As a Selling Group member, Oppenheimer would help market and distribute IHDA bonds without creating direct counterparty exposure or obligating IHDA to use the firm. Finance staff recommended approval based on the firm’s financial strength and housing-finance experience.
