The Regional Municipality of Peel Debt Issuance Committee approved By-law 27-2025 to draw down $7,780,000 from the Canada Infrastructure Bank under a conditional loan agreement. The funds will finance Brampton’s first ten zero-emission buses as part of the ZEB transit electrification project, with repayment governed by the existing Credit Agreement and conditional repayment schedule.
