Hillsboro is set to approve an intergovernmental agreement with the Hillsboro School District to continue the School Resource Officer program from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2027. The district will contribute $200,296 in 2025–2026 and $210,311 in 2026–2027 toward the cost of one SRO while the City supplies seven officers and one sergeant.
