County Initiates Medavie EMS Contract Renewal Negotiations

The County of Lennox and Addington entered a three-year contract with Medavie Health Services, Canada's largest emergency medical services contractor, in November 2023. Council has now directed staff to begin renegotiation for a potential renewal beyond the current term, with financial and contractual terms to be presented before June 24, 2026. Medavie has formally expressed a desire to extend the relationship.
