UC Merced, Merced College finalize Promise Housing pact

UC Merced enters into a 30-year intersegmental housing agreement with Merced College to develop, finance, and operate the 478-bed Promise Housing project, backed by $100 million in State grant funds and $8.557 million in additional Regents-approved funding. UC Merced will oversee development, issue and repay revenue bonds from State-funded appropriations, and manage ongoing operations and maintenance under a joint governance structure.
