The Town of Wilmington is approving a 15‑year non‑exclusive cable television franchise agreement with Spectrum Northeast, LLC, locally known as Charter Communications, for construction and operation of a cable system in the Town’s streets. The agreement includes a 5% franchise fee on gross cable revenues, PEG channel capacity, insurance and indemnification obligations, and takes effect upon NYPSC approval.
