The Lancaster Airport Authority reported that the U.S. DOT has awarded the Essential Air Service contract to SkyWest for a four-year term, under which the carrier will operate 12 flights per week. Southern’s existing service will be extended through June 2, 2026 to ensure continuity during the transition.
