The City of Sumner approved an interlocal agreement with the Pierce County Flood Control Zone District providing up to $9.5 million in 2026 grant funding for four Lower White River flood risk reduction and habitat projects. The agreement governs multi-year capital funding, reimbursement, reporting, and termination conditions and replaces a 2018 funding agreement.
