The Pinellas County School Board approved a three-year Apprenticeship Training Program Agreement with Independent Electrical Contractors, Florida West Coast Chapter, Inc. effective September 1, 2026. The Board will pay $1,700 per student per year up to $510,000 annually plus 50% of CAPE certification funds to support electrical apprenticeship instruction, coordination, and program costs through August 31, 2029.
