PUD to elect BPA Long-Term Tier 2 option

Cowlitz PUD staff recommend electing Bonneville Power Administration’s Option A, All BPA Long-Term Tier 2 Service, to serve any future Above-CHWM load beginning in 2028 under the Provider of Choice contract. The election preserves access to BPA’s long-term Tier 2 product and associated capacity benefits, with the ability to modify the choice before August 1, 2027 if conditions change.
