Hamden seeks CT DEEP grant for Mill River bioswales

The Hamden Legislative Council authorized the Mayor to apply for and, if awarded, accept and expend up to $230,000 in Clean Water Act Section 319 grant funds from the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection to build roadside bioswales and support community outreach in the Mill River watershed. The Engineering Department will design and oversee the project to improve local water quality and resident engagement.
