County Connection Approves Clipper BayPass Pilot Amendment

The County Connection Board approved Resolution No. 2026-26 authorizing the General Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 to the Clipper BayPass Pilot Program Participation Agreement with MTC, extending Phase 2 of the pilot to 2030 and adjusting fare reimbursement provisions. The amendment maintains full reimbursement of adult fares for County Connection while excluding it from unreimbursed reduced-fare BayPass rides and relies on employer funds and up to $5 million in STA Regional funds to cover any shortfall.
