The City of Shelby approved a contract with Cleveland County Community Development Corporation to cover an estimated $22,560 in water and sewer tap, connection, and system development fees for six new low- and moderate-income homes in the Heritage Oaks subdivision. Funding will come from the General Fund and is conditioned on the homes being sold to income-qualified buyers.
