City Approves Agreement with ICAS for Youth Center Use

The Utqiaġvik City Council approved a Memorandum of Agreement with the Iñupiat Community of the Arctic Slope (ICAS) for Qargi Academy's use of a portion of the Youth Center for educational and cultural programming. No rent will be charged in exchange for in-kind training and support provided to City youth initiatives. The agreement is for one year with provisions for automatic renewal.
